Fair City actress Aisling Kearns announces birth of her first baby

Soap star Aisling Kearns has just welcomed her first baby to the world!

In the pic, her partner Dave Fennell can be seen carrying a baby seat down the corridor of the hospital, ready to start their new lives as a family of three.

The actress captioned the adorable moment by revealing her newborn's name: "World, meet Tommy Fennell. Words can’t even describe the emotions right now but just wanted to share with you all his arrival."

Of course, with such wonderful news came lovely comments as her friends and followers rushed to congratulate her and Dave.

"Delighted for you guys!!! Huge congratulations," wrote one as another added: "Welcome to the world sweet Tommy Fennell."

A third penned: "The Irish Mammy becomes an Irish Mammy! Congratulations guys."

Aisling announced back in May that she and Dave would be expanding their family by posting pics of them on a beach holding their baby scan pictures while on holiday in Portugal.

“About to take the 'Irish Mammy' to a whole new level…,” she said alongside the sweet snaps.

The actress-turned-TikTok star became widely known for her relatable Irish Mammy skits that she shared on the platform.

Her acting credits include a role in the theatre adaption of Louise O'Neill's Asking For It and on Fair City.
