Ellen DeGeneres celebrates wedding anniversary with touching post

Our hearts are melting.

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi celebrated 9 years of marriage on Wednesday and to mark the occasion, the talk-show host took to Instagram to share the most sweet post. "Being her wife is the greatest thing I am" DeGeneres said as she shared a black and white throwback from their wedding in 2008.

  On Facebook Ellen posted another throwback, however this time it was a video of her first "Ellen Show" as a married women which includes photos from their wedding day in Beverly Hills, California.     Her wife and actress, Portia De Rossi also got in on the action posting a photograph from back when they were "kids", showing just how long the two have been together.    

 

We've been together so long that not only do we look like kids in this picture, but it was taken with a camera! Happy 9th, Thing.

  The couple first met in 2004 at a photoshoot, they said it was love at first sight and the rest is history.
