Ed Sheeran Lands a New Gig – And It’s NOT What You Might Think!

In the strangest celebrity news you're likely to hear today - Ed Sheeran has filmed a guest appearance on Home and Away.  The Thinking Out Loud hitmaker was snapped this week while shooting scenes at the show's famous Palm Beach location. British singer-songwriter Sheeran was pictured filming with long-standing star Emily Symons, who plays Marilyn Chambers in the popular Australian soap. A spokesperson for Home and Away has since confirmed that Ed has filmed scenes for an episode set to air later this year. The rep said: "He will appear as himself in the series, but the storyline details about what brings Ed to Summer Bay are being kept under wraps for now." Sheeran is currently in Australia for a tour which includes dates in Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and Sydney. He will return to Ireland this summer for two dates in Croke Park.
