Comedian and actor John Cleese has launched a scathing attack on the British media calling it “disgusting” and “depraved.”
Cleese was promoting his role for Disney movie “Planes” in an interview with The Guardian, when he lashed out at the media. The Fawlty Towers star was chatting about social media has lessened his dependence on papers to showcase his work.
Excluding The Independent, The Guardian and The Daily Mirror from his attack, the veteran actor said that:
“The rest are the most appalling, depraved, disgusting, amoral creatures you could find anywhere outside of prison.”

The actor continued saying:
"And of course many of them are going to be inside a prison soon.”
