Demi Lovato Called Taylor Swift Out on Twitter and Tay Responded Pretty Spectacularly

Demi and Taylor rule from different tribes so it’s likely that they butt heads from time to time. So as we know, Kesha had been involved in a heinous legal battle to exit her Sony contract and make money without Producer Dr Luke. Kesha alleges that the producer has a history of physical and sexual assault and has attacked her in the past. When the court ruled in favour of Sony last week, hundreds of musicians, producers and general twitter users began tweeting #FreeKesha in solidarity.

  As more and more artists began adding their two-cents, some began wondering where Taylor Swift’s opinion was on the matter. The singer has yet to speak out and declare any level of support, something that been dutifully noted by fans. And while Demi tweeted her support earlier in the week, it seems a string of recent tweets is a dig at Taylor's failure to show support.

  The rest of the Internet seems to share Demi's opinion. But, while Taylor still hasn't publically tweeted support, a representative has confirmed that she has instead, donated $250,000 to Kesha to help fund a legal battle and appeal. "In a show of support, Taylor Swift has donated $250,000 to Kesha to help with any of her financial needs during this trying time," a spokesperson for Swift wrote in a statement. So I guess that's kinda better than a tweet.
