Danniella Westbrook Axed From Celebrity Big Brother Before The Season Begins

Things change pretty quickly in the land of showbiz...  Just a few weeks back it was reported that Danniella Westbrook was offered a whopping £200,000 to appear on Channel 5's Celebrity Big Brother. Danniella was reportedly offered £200,000 to enter the house.  Now, it seems producers have changed their minds and axed the former Eastenders star- before the season has even started. Sources told The Sun that although Channel 5 were eager to get her on board, there were some red flags after the first meeting. The actress is currently trying to rebuild her career. The insider apparently said: "The producers were desperate to get Danniella on the show because, let’s face it, she’d make great TV. "She was invited to meet them and alarm bells started ringing straight away. She was incredibly incoherent." TOWIE's Dan Osborne is among the famous faces rumoured to be entering the house.  The 41-year-old is reportedly attempting to rebuild her television career but has suffered a series of setbacks of late. The source added that this is a "major kick in the teeth" for Danniella adding: "That money could have got her back on her feet."
