Dane Bowers Reportedly Charged with Common Assault

Dane Bowers has reportedly been charged with assault on his former fiancée Sophia Cahill. The singer, who rose to fame in the boy band Another Level, is due to appear in court next month. Dane and Sophia were engaged. According to The Sun he is accused of hitting Sophia in front of her young son earlier this year. She reported the alleged incident in February. A Scotland Yard spokesperson said: “Dane Bowers, 35, of no fixed abode, has been charged with common assault. He will appear before magistrates in May.” Dane was a member of boy band Another Level. Dane and Sophia, who is a glamour model, got engaged back in 2013. She called things off the following year.
