Chloe Koyce shares update after man is arrested following Dublin hotel incident

Over the weekend, Gardaí investigating an alleged incident of stalking/harassment arrested a man in his 20s.

Gardaí stated:

"Gardaí attached to Kevin Street Garda Station investigating an alleged incident of stalking/harassment that occurred at a premises on Harcourt Street, Dublin 2 in the early hours of Friday, 21st March 2025 arrested one male (20s) in recent weeks.

"The male was detained for questioning at a Garda Station in Dublin following a search at a residential address.

"He has since been released from Garda custody and a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions."

Gardaí confirmed the investigation is ongoing.

Speaking about the arrest, Chloe said:

"I’m sure you may have seen the news articles already, but that is the newest update on my incident in Dublin recently. I wanted to share this update to make you all aware of how seriously this is being taken with the Garda.

She added, "Please don’t be scared or embarrassed to report these situations."

She added, "I’m so grateful for the work done to find and punish this boy for his actions. It has negatively impacted my day-to-day life from now on, but every day I will be stronger.”

"Thank you for all supporting me over the last few weeks. I really appreciate all your comments and messages. It’s definitely hitting all over again today, knowing it’s out there, but it’s positive news."

Chloe has been praised for bravely speaking out about the terrifying incident which took place in a Dublin hotel in March.

After a night out, a man followed her into a hotel lift after a night out in Dublin. Koyce revealed the man was holding a belt in his hand when he followed her into the lift.
