I think it’s fair to say Nick Grimshaw won’t be going to dinner in the Fernandez-Versini household any time soon.
Cheryl’s husband, Jean-Bernard, was no doubt a little miffed when her fellow X Factor judge Nick called her by her previous married name, Cole.
The pair were wed in July 2014.
Now, he has taken to Instagram to respond to the recent video posted by Nick featuring himself and Cheryl horsing around backstage.
The short clip showed Cheryl taking a spin on a Segway scooter while 30-year-old Nick gave her a helping hand before spinning her around playfully.
Nick sits alongside Cheryl on the X Factor judging panel.
The video went down very well with fans, receiving more than 20,000 likes, but elicited a pretty bitter response from Jean-Bernard.
The restaurateur wrote: “Jimmy the grym you very funny and strong after all those hours in the gym but remember her ass is mine.”
The comment, which has since been deleted, received backlash from Cheryl’s fans who branded the Frenchman “jealous” and “embarrassing”.
One user wrote: “You would think this busy ‘businessman’ would have more important things to do.”
Ouch.
