Charlotte Crosby and Joshua Ritchie split after two years together

Charlotte Crosby has announced her split from boyfriend, Joshua Ritchie.

Taking to Instagram last night, the former Geordie Shore star released a statement explaining that they've decided to part ways and that she wishes him all the best.

"Me and Josh have decided to part ways. Sadly the relationship seems to have broken down. Hoping we can still remain civil and wish him the best for the future," the 29-year-old stated.

Charlotte and Josh had just moved in together in Bolton. However, it is rumoured that the move was hard for Charlotte who felt isolated from her friends and family in Newcastle. Both Charlotte and Josh were known for their explosive fights on three series of The Charlotte Show on MTV. The show followed the stars around as they tried to navigate work, life, and love. The pair's fuelled fights often took centre stage on the show with many believing their relationship was "toxic". But, nevertheless, they always made up and Charlotte only recently stated they were happier than ever.

"We’re really happy! It’s amazing, it’s never been better, and I’m not just saying that. The love that I have for that boy is just overwhelmingly strong. It could bring us to tears, that’s how much I love him" Charlotte said last month.

However, it looks as though that statement aged quick. Joshua has yet to speak out on the split.
