Caroline Flack Reveals Awkward First Meeting with Simon Cowell

Caroline Flack has revealed that she didn’t get off to the best of starts with Simon Cowell. The X Factor host revealed on Lorraine this morning that she was anxious about finally meeting the music mogul on her first day. Caroline had never met Simon Cowell before. She revealed: “I’d never worked with Simon and I found myself getting really nervous on my first day. “The first question I asked him was if he thought all the talent in the UK had been exhausted and he just looked at me and said ‘that’s a stupid question.’” The 35-year-old with co-host Olly Murs. She added: “Then he turned his back on me and just walked away… I thought, I’m going to be sacked.” Caroline and Olly Murs took over from Dermot O’Leary as hosts on this year’s series of the singing competition.
