The podcast, which promises to feature candid conversations with top celebrities and public figures, will kick off with an emotional and revealing discussion between the two singers.
This will mark the first time McFadden has openly spoken with Byrne about his decision to leave Westlife in 2004.
Nicky Byrne HQ will focus on in-depth interviews, exploring the personal and professional journeys of Byrne’s guests.
As the debut guest, McFadden will reflect on his controversial departure from Westlife and the effects it had on both his and Byrne’s careers, as well as the band's future.
Byrne spoke of his excitement about launching the podcast and starting with such a significant conversation.
"This is something I’ve wanted to do for a while," Byrne shared.
"I’ve had the privilege of meeting and working with so many incredible people over the years, and I think it’s time to share their stories in a way that’s raw, honest, and hopefully inspiring.
“I couldn’t think of a better first guest than Brian - he had a lot to say!"
McFadden’s departure from Westlife in 2004 shocked fans across the globe and marked a turning point for the iconic Irish boyband, which went on to continue touring as four.
The podcast will offer listeners an intimate look at how the split affected the two musicians, both professionally and personally, and will be the first time they discuss the subject so openly.
Looking ahead, Byrne teased that this episode is just the beginning, promising more fascinating conversations with a wide range of guests.
"I’m looking forward to having some great conversations with many more people down the line," he said.
