It’s not quite a year’s salary, but it is a tidy sum for one night’s work.
Former Westlife singer Brian McFadden’s fee for presenting the TV3 Toy Show has been made public after his agent accidentally sent a bill to the entire TV3 newsroom.
McFadden hosted the 90 minute event live from the RDS last Friday night alongside Xposé’s Karen Koster and with special guests Jedward.
This week his agent followed up on Brian’s fees, but sent the bill to the newsroom instead of the station’s finance department.
It seems 34-year-old Brian earned €5,000 for the gig.
The gaffe comes after McFadden slammed one online critic of his career, telling a community radio station presenter Jamie Jay Car that he was probably earning Car’s salary “to fly in for one night”.
@JamieJayCar near fm? Really. I’m getting paid probably your salary to fly in for one night! Suck it
