Blake Lively says this year has been full of the lowest lows of her life

Actress Blake Lively has spoken out about the ‘intense year’ she has faced amid her ongoing legal battle with Justin Baldoni.

Lively is suing the It Ends With Us director for sexual harassment.

She has also accused him of causing “severe emotional distress.”

Lively also claims that Baldoni and company allegedly conducted a “social manipulation” campaign to “destroy” the 37-year-old actress’s reputation.

Baldoni has filed a $400 million lawsuit and has accused Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, of attempting to destroy his career.

The actress has kept a low profile in recent months but appeared on Late Night With Seth Meyers this week.

The actress was hesitant to discuss the ongoing legal battle but praised her children for getting her through this difficult time.

She described her four children as her “lifeline.”

“It’s no surprise, I have had a pretty intense year. They’re just my lifeline. No matter what day I am having.”

“Yeah. I mean, what I can say without going too into it is that this year has been full of the highest highs and the lowest lows of my life.”

“I see so many women around afraid to speak, especially right now, afraid to show their experiences. And fear is by design. It’s what keeps us silent. But I also acknowledge that many people don’t have the opportunity to speak.”

Lively added, “I do feel fortunate that I’d been able to, and it’s the women who have the ability to use their voice that’s kept me strong and helped me in my belief, in my fight for the world to be safer for women and girls.”
