Camogie player and presenter Anna Geary has given birth to her first child.
The new mum's first child was born "slightly ahead of schedule" but Anna and her newborn are doing well.The Ireland's Fittest Family star gave birth to a baby boy on August 1st. Alongside a photo of her baby boy, the new mum wrote: "Arrived slightly ahead of schedule, he couldn’t wait to get here."Anna and her husband Kevin Sexton decided to call their son Ronan.She continued, "Welcome to the world, Ronan Sexton. 01/08/2023."The birth of her first child comes just days after Anna said she was feeling "excited" about becoming a mum.She told her Instagram followers that she was incredibly grateful to be able to work throughout her pregnancy."There's so many emotions at the moment obviously I'm really excited and I'm obviously really grateful that I can work because I'm still feeling well enough to do that but there is, you know, the nerves setting in as well so it's just a whirlwind."The new mum shared, "I'm sure everyone else experiences that too but you know, it's my first time experiencing it."Anna and her husband Kevin announced they were expecting their first child together in February. The new parents confirmed the news on Instagram.Alongside a photo of a toy rabbit, mini hurley, and onesie, the presenter wrote, "A new teammate coming in 2023".Huge congratulations to Anna and Kevin on the birth of their baby boy.
