Amanda Bynes returns to the spotlight with new podcast just months after hospitalisation

Amanda Bynes has returned to the spotlight!

The former actress hasn't been heard from in quite some time, and just months ago was hospitalised for a "psychotic episode," according to reports.

In 2010 she starred alongside Emma Stone in Easy A, but quickly after the movie hit our screens Amanda suddenly disappeared from Hollywood, telling fans and the media that she was retiring from acting.

Now, the 37-year-old has officially returned to the entertainment world as she launched a new podcast with her friend Paul Sieminski just days ago.

The star took to Instagram to confirm its release and shared a photo of herself alongside Paul and their first podcast guest, tattoo artist Dhalia Moth.

In the photo, they are sitting on a couch together showing peace signs.

Amanda looked unrecognisable compared to her acting days as she showed off platinum blonde hair in space buns with contrasting dark eyebrows and a small heart-shaped tattoo on her left cheek.

She captioned her post: "First episode of Amanda Bynes & Paul Sieminski: The Podcast done. Thank you @dahliamoth!"

The podcast is available now on Spotify here, and has received hundreds of reviews rating it with 4.4 stars.
