Amanda Bynes seems to be having a very rough time of it lately. Her twitter account has been a hotspot for criticism and mocking, and, perhaps more worryingly, she seems to be on the verge of a nervous breakdown, if she hasn’t had one already.

The “retired” actress appeared in court today, May 9th, to face charges for driving on a suspended licence. The 27-year-old pleaded no contest and received three years probation, according to US Weekly.

In addition to the probation, Bynes was also fined $300.

The actress’ licence had been suspended following two hit and run incidents. She was pulled over in September 2012 in relation to the charges which she appeared in court for today.

She is still apparently facing DUI charges also which stem from an incident in April of 2012, which Bynes pleaded not guilty to.

Bynes has not yet taken to her twitter account to comment.
