‘A little gift’ – Aisling Bea has given birth to her first child

The comedian announced her wonderful news in a witty Instagram post this morning.

Alongside a series of photos from her pregnancy, the new mum revealed she gave birth to her first child.

Bea penned a witty post to announce her newborn's arrival.

She penned a Trip Advisor review of her pregnancy on Instagram which has left fans in stitches.

She gave her pregnancy one star and admitted it reminded her of the Glasgow Willie Wonka experience in the hilarious post.

Aisling also touched on the multiple issues she faced during pregnancy including UTIs, bleeding, depression, cramps, insomnia, nosebleeds, sinus blockage, migraines, vomiting, being randomly touched by people without asking, bones mushing, organs moving, and skin stretching.

"Being told that you’ll forget all the pain/that it’s a privilege / that it will all be worth it in the end" were other low points, the mum said.

Despite the negatives, the new mum said 'the little gift' given at the end was quite the positive.

She wrote: "I was given a little gift at check out which is, admittedly, quite cute."

The mum posted a photo of her adorable newborn resting on her chest but has not confirmed their name or gender.

Aisling revealed she was pregnant in June. This is the comedian's first child.
