Actress Mary Ellen Trainor has passed away at the age of 62.
Her close friend and Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy confirmed this week that she died at her home in California on May 20th.
She said in a statement: “Mary and I have been close since our days together as college room-mates and she even provided the introduction to Steven Spielberg that jump-started my career.
“She was a great actress, warm friend and generous spirit.”

Trainor starred in The Goonies, Lethal Weapon, Forrest Gump and Back to the Future.
She is survived by her ex-husband, filmmaker Robert Zemeckis, and their son Alex Zemeckis.
