Actress Gemma Arterton Granted Divorce From Husband Of Two Years In London Court

Bond girl Gemma Arterton has today been granted a divorce from her estranged husband Stefano Catelli, following their separating in November 2012. The actress and the Italian fashion consultant had married after a whirlwind romance, after getting engaged just 10 months into their relationship. The 29-year old was granted a decree nisi at a brief hearing at the Central Family Court in London's High Holborn. Neither she nor Catelli were in attendance. According to the Mail Online, the order in the undefended petition for divorce was granted on the grounds of two years separation 'by consent'. Following their separating, Arterton had denied any hard feelings towards her ex, telling Marie Claire in 2013: “It was a wonderful time and I have nothing bad to say about it. “Even if they don’t last relationships can enrich your life in some way and then you move on to the next part – it’s all part of the process of living.” The actress has since been dating French director Franklin Ohanessian since 2014, after meeting while she filmed The Voices.
