A Dodgy Car and A Stumble Down The Aisle: Karen Koster Spills The Goss From Her Big Day

It may have looked like Karen Koster had the perfect wedding day but the Xposé star has revealed that it didn’t go without a few little glitches.

The television presenter, who married businessman John McGuire in Sicily last week, has revealed that she had a stumble on her way down the aisle.

The presenter tied the knot in Italy last week. 

“Someone had asked if I wanted John to turn his head when I arrived to the top of the aisle. I went for having him look at me all the way up. I was thinking, ‘You need to look at the dress John! You need to get the whole picture.’

“Then I fell up the steps of the church, which made me laugh. I totally messed up the start of the walk,” she said according to The Sun.

But she wasn’t the only one who had a mishap. As the Irish Independent reports, Karen’s other half and his brothers had a spot of car bother.

“It was funny because three of John’s brothers were supposed to be in the car also, but they got five minutes down the road when the car just clunked out! John ended up having to go by himself and the boys followed behind in a separate car,” the bride explained.

Despite all of this the couple, who dated for four years before tying the knot, ended up sipping champagne while watching the sunrise.

The 32-year-old revealed:  “I think we got to bed at 7am. John and I were the last to leave the bar, and then we had champagne on our balcony with the sun coming up.”
