A Celebrity Big Brother Housemate Made An Incredible Gesture To Gail Porter Last Night

Team USA housemate Austin Armacost made an incredible gesture of support to Gail Porter last night – by shaving off his hair. Gail admitted her hair loss (as a result of alopecia) has left her feeling “extremely ugly” most of the time. She was speaking with her housemates about her struggles with self-esteem when Austin decided to reach out to the TV presenter. Upset by her heartbreaking admission, Austin told Gail: “Some women here are gorgeous. Within 20 secs of knowing these women, they're awful. "You're the most strong, independent woman I've known. You are an amazing human being." Backing up his sentiment, Austin then told Gail he would be honoured is she would shave his head. Clearly touched by his actions, Gail started shaving his hair remaining speechless by the act of compassion. When she finished, Austin told Gail: "I don't give a shit what people think. You are the most awesome human being. This is how important hair is Gail. This is something that's not important.” Austin later admitted in the Diary Room that he felt closer to Team UK. Speaking about his loyalties in the house, he added: "They [Team UK] were the ones who were talking to Gail. I don't want to bash the USA team, but at the end of the day... it seems to me that Team USA is just looking out for themselves. "I haven't had these moments with my own team...
