Linda Ronstadt, who has won nearly a dozen Grammy awards, has revealed that she has Parkinson’s disease.
The singer, who has sold more than 100 million albums worldwide says she is unable to "sing a note."
Ronstadt said she was diagnosed eight months ago is quoted in saying in an interview with AARP.
"No one can sing with Parkinson's disease," she said in her interview, "No matter how hard you try."

"Parkinson's is very hard to diagnose, so when I finally went to a neurologist and he said, 'Oh, you have Parkinson's disease', I was completely shocked. I wouldn't have suspected that in a million, billion years," she said in the interview.
The interview is due to be published next week. The singer is due to publish her memoir, Simple Dreams, later this year.
