Such a Nice Girl by Andrea Mara
One of the most-talked-about thrillers of the year by a long shot. This has got to be one of our favourite books of 2026, and you can buy it here for just €1.15.
Such a Nice Girl follows two mothers, who wake up after a wedding to discover that both of their daughters are missing. There is blood on the floor of the pool house they were staying in, and they find a lamp smashed on the floor, a blood stain on the carpet, a ringing phone – and both girls are nowhere to be seen.

Malibu Rising by Taylor Jenkins Reid
You can never go wrong with a Taylor Jenkins Reid book, and this has got to be the perfect one for summer.
Set in 1983, Malibu Rising follows the glamorous and famous Riva family as they host the party of all parties at their Malibu home. However, by midnight, the party will be completely out of control. By morning, the Riva mansion will have gone up in flames.
