If your skin is breaking out more than usual then this everyday habit may be to blame
Is anyone else desperately trying to clear their skin up at the moment? The changing of the seasons tends to wreak havoc on many people’s skin, but there is so much we can do to clear it up.
As stressful as it can be, having acne is pretty common and not something we should be ashamed about. There are many reasons why some women are noticing an increase in problem skin whether it’s because of hormonal, environmental, or lifestyle reasons.
And sometimes it can be all three.
Trying to find products that agree with your skin that won’t break the bank is another mission we often have to overcome, but there’s actually one daily habit that may be causing your skin to break out more than usual.
And it won’t cost you anything to change it.
As much as we hate to admit it, we’re always on our phones whether we’re scrolling through Instagram or having an hour-long chat with our besties in the evening. It’s something we use every single day, but we don’t always think of the impact it has on our skin.
However, experts have confirmed that our phones may be one of the main reasons we’re breaking out, especially on our cheeks and chin.
According to Healthline, the germs and bacteria lingering on our phones may be the reason behind consistent breakouts.
We certainly don’t clean our phones enough but we’ll be using antibacterial wipes like there’s no tomorrow after reading
“Touching your face or pressing a phone against your skin can transfer bacteria to the skin, increasing the chances of breakouts,” St. Surin-Lord told the publication.
