Acne is an extremely troublesome skin condition and finding the right treatment can prove difficult.
What works for one person may not be suitable for someone else but that said, it’s worth listening to any tips that arise if you suffer from problem skin which brings us to this one from Natalie Portman.
In a recent interview with The Cut, Natalie said that she’s noticed a huge improvement in her skin since she switched from a vegetarian diet to a vegan one.
Before we go any further, it’s important to note that this is a major lifestyle change and while a vegan diet produced results for Natalie’s skin, that’s not the case for every single person.
It does involve cutting out certain food groups, with Natalie banning dairy and eggs from her daily food intake, and this is an extreme measure.
Chatting to the publication, the 36-year-old said:
“I’m vegan and I found my skin is much, much better than when I was a vegetarian. I cut out dairy and eggs, and I never had a breakout after. That was definitely a discovery”.
The Black Swan star was quick to point out that this was a “personal” decision and that everyone has “different sensitivities”.
