This week’s episode of Curated with Cassie is seriously good… if I do say so myself.
If you need a distraction from Covid-19 and all the uncertainty happening in the world right now, we have spring style and mash potato goodness for you – is that not the best combination ever?
This week, I put a beauty salon to the test to see what treatments they could fit in in an hour, I checked out the glorious new season style at Arnotts and James Kavanagh made me mash potato, a crisp sandwich and a cup of tea.
Since it’s Paddy’s Day this week, I wanted to celebrate some delicious Irish foods together with one of our favourite Irish humans… light bulb moment!
I decided to put James and his best friend Carla Treacy to the test, challenging them to go head to head to see who can make the best versions of some Irish favourites.
I appreciated the effort from both sides but my favourite had to have been James’ mash potato, he had a few tricks up his sleeve and you can have a look at what he did here.
From food to fashion, I sat front row at the recent preview of Arnotts spring summer 2020 collection.
Florals are still in for the brighter months ahead, so whether you’re purchasing something new or re-purposing an old piece, have a look at what patterns and prints are trending for the upcoming fashion season.
Last but not least, I went into one of my favourite beauty salons Sugar Coated in Blackrock and challenged them to see what they could do in an hour… a rather fun experiment.
When the summer months arrive, we need to our toes done and tan on and the beauty experts at Sugar Coated were able to get a full-body tan, an eyebrow and eyelash tint and shellac manicure sorted in one hour. Pretty impressive!
Now you won’t be able to go in as an everyday customer and get this done as it was a one-off but I’m sure if you told them you were in a rush, they would do everything to help with your beauty needs. Their sister salon Brown Sugar has been looking after my beauty needs since my debs and they’re just great.
