Irish brides need to avoid doing this on their wedding day

An Irish wedding expert has revealed the common mistake many brides make on the morning of their wedding day.

There’s so much to do on the morning of your wedding day, and the fear of something going wrong can be overwhelming.

You want to embrace the joy and merriment of the day, and that can be pretty tricky if you’re trying to sort out 101 different things.

Wedding expert Sara Kennedy recently told Her.ie about one of the biggest mistakes brides make on their wedding day.

She explained that many brides fail to appoint someone to look after “all of the comings and goings on the morning of” your big day.

The last thing any bride needs is to be answering calls from vendors, fretting about where her bouquet is, and trying to organise lifts to the venue.

Sara said one of the best things you can do is to appoint that role to someone else, whether it’s your wedding planner or maid of honour.

She shared, “Have someone appointed to liaise with all of the comings and goings on the morning of.

“There will be vendors arriving, people to be paid, and more. Delegate the job of someone being that person who is the point of contact, so you don’t have to get overwhelmed with everyone asking loads of questions.”

Sara also warned brides not to cook breakfast in their house on the morning of their wedding, as the smells will end up on their hair and clothes.

Nobody wants their veil to end up smelling like rashers.
