Another Friday rolls around! Here are ten things that put a smile on our faces this week…

Grace enjoyed nothing more this week than Monday night’s episode of TV3’s Celebrity Apprentice. Four weeks in and she is just about over Martin Maloney being fired in the first episode (she does love a bit of Hardy Bucks), Grace saw two other faces onscreen that she has a lot of time for, her lovely Her.ie colleagues Michelle and Rebecca.
The girls were on call to check out the advertising skills of Team Athena and Team Iconic. This week’s task was launching a new product for Durex, however it’s fair to say that Rebecca was less than impressed with it all.
Jonathan Rhys Meyers
The actor made Rebecca’s week when he told her she had a “lovely Northern accent” at the preview screening of his new show Dracula which airs on Sky Living on the 31st of October. Rebecca thinks it’s going to be her new television addiction although we reckon she’s a bit biased now that she’s met the leading man!
Priscilla, Queen of the Desert
In a former life, Michelle is convinced she was a Broadway star. Unfortunately, she used up all the talent on that outing and as such cannot hold a note in this life, to save her life. It hasn’t dimmed her love of all things musical though, so a night spent at the fabulous Bord Gais Energy Theatre to see her childhood idol Jason Donovan in a touring Priscilla show was the best laugh she’s had in ages. There was a well-deserved standing ovation on opening night. You have until next Wednesday to see it, and you really should.

Walkers everywhere!
The Walking Dead is back on our screens, which means that Úna can finally fill that zombie “craving” that she’s been having. She’s already signed up for an online course that ties in with the show (seriously). Check it out here.
From fake fingers to snow globes, we’ve been getting all sorts of invitations into the office this week and as someone who is already looking forward to the festive season and has started her Christmas shopping, Rebecca was very impressed by the one sent in by Lidl Ireland.
Positive Energy
Michelle is a magpie, and as such she’s spent much of this morning staring at the latest addition to her Alex & Ani collection, the ‘Key to my Heart’ charm bangle. Michelle is firmly of the opinion that we could all do with a little more #PositiveEnergy in our lives, which is why everyone she knows and loves is getting one of these for Christmas. She may have just ruined the surprise.

With love from Portugal
This week Úna arrived back in office from her wee holiday in Portugal, and instead of the classic bar of Toblerone she decided to splash out in Duty Free on a box of Port Truffles for the Her.ie team – delicious.
