There are many stories that strike a chord with the Her.ie team, for a multitude of different reasons.
The video below is one such piece, it features McKenzie Carey, a twelve year old with mitochondrial disease. The debilitating disease often stops McKenzie from participating in activities other children her age do every day.
However, at a recent pageant her dad decided McKenzie deserved to be involved and he found a way of helping her to dance.
This is truly lovely and caused a tear or two in the office.
