The new, and first-ever, face of Bobbi Brown Cosmetics has reportedly been revealed…
It is none other than Katie Holmes that has reportedly inked a deal to become the first-ever face of the worldwide cosmetic brand.
According to WWD, industry sources are whispering that the Hollywood actress is representing the beauty range on a global scale.
Despite the speculation, Bobbi Brown executives and Katie’s representatives both refused to comment on the reports.
Katie could be opening up a whole new world of endorsement opportunities for herself since her much-publicised divorce from Tom Cruise.
The ‘Dawson’s Creek’ star is no stranger to lending her face to fashion and beauty trends though.
The 33-year-old has appeared in advertisements for Garnier Lumia hair colour, Coach leather goods and clothing retailer The Gap.
Katie also has her own fashion label, Holmes & Yang, with business partner and friend Jeanne Yang. The pair are preparing to showcase the brand’s spring 2013 ready-to-wear collection on September 12 during New York Fashion Week.
Holmes & Yang are reportedly showing their sartorial offering at the famous NYFW tents at the prestigious Lincoln Centre.
“This is a big deal for Katie to show in the tents, under the full attention of the fashion editors and the glare of the media scrutiny.
“They could have done a small show elsewhere, so this proves she and Jeanne are very serious about their business,” a source revealed last month.
We were all wondering what Katie would do next… we think she’s just answered our question.
Katie’s set to conquer the beauty world as the first-ever face of Bobbi Brown Cosmetics.
