A British company have taken the love for a cuppa to a whole new level, brewing a cuppa for man’s best friend sitting under the kitchen table.

The Woof & Brew herbal tea blends promise perks for your pooch including better breath and a shinier coat. The company have seven varieties of premium blends, with each teabag making one litre of tea.

A box of 28 teabags fetches a hefty price at £9.99, with the most popular tea in the collection being Ha-pee Lawns – a blend of golden rod, yucca root and tomato flakes. The herbal remedy is also said to help reduce lawn damage created by dog urine.

Steve Bennett, Woof & Brew’s creator, told The Telegraph:

‘We used to run a tea-shop and many dog owners would say their dogs like to have a cup of tea, but the caffeine and milk in the tea isn’t really suitable for dogs. So we came up with a range of herbal teas they can enjoy without negative effects.

“We bought in a vet who wrote a report for us who came back with the conclusion that certain herbs were extremely beneficial for dogs.”

Steve later added that although he doesn’t know if all dogs will like the taste, his two canines do, and the herbal blend has helped freshen his pets’ breaths:

“I don’t know if dogs enjoy it as they can’t say – but one of my dogs has dreadful bad breath and we give him the fresh breath blend and that freshens his breath.”

Forget taking the dog for a walk, you better stick the kettle on instead.
