Gwyneth Paltrow is having a right old time of it lately. Not only was she named as the best dressed woman but she was also signed as the ambassador for the new female fragrance by Hugo Boss. As if that’s not enough, she has now been revealed as the new face of Max Factor.
The actress, who has starred in hit films including Se7en and Sliding Doors, has just agreed to a six month campaign for the makeup giants.
Max Factor is one of the most popular makeup brands.
Kicking off in November, the campaign will span the whole world. Well, at least where Max Factor is sold anyway.
Speaking about it to WWD, Global Creative Design Director Pat McGrath said: “I tasked 11 of our national makeup artists to create three glamour statements for Gwyneth.
“These were to be inspired by her life and the different role she has to play – model, actress, mother, singer.”
Esi Eggleston Bracey, the Vice President of Max Factor, added: “This campaign is a real celebration of Max Factor makeup artistry and we’re hoping it will act as inspiration for other women to find the glamour statements that are right for them.”
If anything it’ll be interesting to see how Gwyneth and Max Factor do against Katie Holmes and Bobbi Brown. Let the beauty battles begin!
