We all hate updates.
We lose memory on our phones, they take ages to upgrade, and in the end… do they really make our phones any better?
They probably do, but sometimes the changes are just damn annoying.
However, with the latest iOS update, there seems to be a major flaw in the system.
One of the new features is the Control Centre, where you can toggle options such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Do Not Disturb at the touch of the button.
Except… it doesn’t actually work.
Some users are noticing that Wi-Fi and Bluetooth remain available, even if you turn them off, which could potentially lead to cyber attacks.
Apple’s own documentation admits this, saying: “Both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth will continue to be available, so you can use important features.”
Since it was recently claimed that Bluetooth could lead to hackers breaking into your phone, it seems a bit strange that you can’t actually turn the option off anymore from the Control Centre.
Bit of an oversight, perhaps?
