If your laptop is one of the ones affected, it needs to be sent to an Apple Repair Center for service. Service may take one to two weeks. Customers have been advised to back up their data before sending their computer off. The news comes a few weeks after the tech giant announced they were phasing out the iTunes music library.
It will be replaced with three different apps - Apple Music, Apple Podcasts and Apple TV.
But don't worry: while the 18-year-old app will be gone, you'll still have access to all of your songs - no matter how you may have downloaded them. Apple has promised that this new system will have "all the features you'd expect from iTunes, all while being blazingly fast."
