Amazon drops the price of its popular tablet by 60% in early Black Friday deal

It’s one of its lowest prices ever

Amazon has quietly launched its first Black Friday deals on some of its most popular devices.

The online retail giant isn't officially kicking off its Black Friday week sale until 20 November.

But this hasn't stopped Amazon from launching some early deals, including 60% off its Fire HD 8 tablet.

Usually priced at at €113.45 the tablet is now priced at just €45.37 for a limited time, in black, pink or green.

The device offers an 8" HD display for seamless on-the-go streaming and gaming, coupled with a 5MP rear facing camera for photos.

The tablet has a thin, light, durable design, with 3GB RAM which is 50% more than 2022's release, and 32GB of storage.

You can enjoy up to 13 hours of reading, browsing the web, watching videos, gaming and listening to music at home and on the go.

You're able to stream or download your favourite shows, films and games, and browse apps like Instagram, TikTok and more on the tablet.

Shoppers who have tried and tested the tablet have given it an average rating of 4.5 stars on Amazon.

One said: "A versatile tablet that is the perfect size, that is comfortable to hold if you’re reading or using in general for a while, to slip into a small bag and carry around. Perfect for reading, watching movies or browsing the internet."

While another wrote: "Better than I expected and does the job. Great little tablet, perfect for social media or browsing. I'm surprised with the excellent cost!".

The huge discount follows up the early deal on the Echo Dot smart speaker, which ran across the weekend and gave shoppers the chance to get two speakers for the price of one.

More discounts are expected on Amazon devices as the online retailer launches its Black Friday sale on Thursday, 20 November.

It will run through to 1 December, which is Cyber Monday, with a number of discounts confirmed.

Customers will be able to get up to 55% off Amazon devices including the Echo Dot, Fire Stick, and Kindle.

Plus as well as the Kindle, shoppers can save up to 60% on hundreds of print books and up to 90% off thousands of digital eBooks.
