Amanda Seyfried is the cover star of the June issue of Elle UK and opens up about her personal life in a revealing interview.
The Letters to Juliet actress is frank and open about living her life in the spotlight but says that she doesn’t succumb to pressure to look a certain way.
“I don’t have to look like a supermodel. I don’t have to have those abs – the camera doesn’t see that. But because we have all been designed to want these things, I’m a victim of this stuff, too.
“Thank God for Kate Upton. She’s a supermodel. She has curves. She’s like the new image of beauty and thank God”.

Discussing her health regime, Amanda said that while she exercises for an hour each day and does an occasional detox, indulging is also important.
“Emotionally, I need sugar in my life. I like wine. And coffee”.
Twenty eight-year-old Amanda also talked about suffering with anxiety and Obsessive Complusive Disorder (OCD): “I feel terrible for the younger me, because I thought I was crazy. Where was the fear coming from? It doesn’t make any sense.
“It becomes physical – I would get dizzy and cry and the lights were too bright.
“I had my anxiety and my OCD – a lot of kids have it. You’re afraid of it; you’re afraid of your brain”.
