We love splashing the cash when we can. The 'treatyoself' concept is one we all firmly believe in... However, some things are just a bit too extravagant for us. For example, if you want a Gucci bag or Chanel boots, you'll probably have to save for a couple of months. Well, what about the most expensive shoes ever made? We stumbled upon the golden shoes this morning, and we were actually really surprised. Not necessarily by the price of the shoes (we'll get to that), but more surprised by how ordinary they look. These pricey pumps are limited edition and very special, given that there is only one pair in existence. But they're just not that cute. Oh, and did we mention they cost a cool $13 MILLION? No wonder they only made one pair... there are very few people who can afford them. The stilettos, which are made from gold and hundreds of diamonds, will be launched at the Burj Al Arab, in Dubai. The shoes took nine months to design (like a human child), and were created by Jada Dubai and Passion Jewellers. Maria Majari, co-founder of Jada Dubai, said: "Jada Dubai designs only shoes with diamonds. For the launch of our second collection, we wanted to create a piece that is truly unique in the world using very rare diamond." "There will be only one pair of The Passion Diamond Shoes in the world." "We had to prototype many shoes in Italy in order to find the perfect shape, perfect heel, the perfect colour for it. Even inside, the logos of both companies are made out gold, which is very thin, so it will be very comfortable for walking."
