Suffice to say that Vogue Williams absolutely wowed going to the TV Awards on Tuesday evening.
The 32-year-old Dubliner looked stunning in a gold gown – and understandably she thanked her ‘glam squad’ on Instagram and Twitter for their help in getting her red-carpet ready.
Citing them as a ‘dream’ she gave a shout-out to Irish stylist Brian Conway, hair stylist Matthew Feeney, and MUA Buster Knight, before heading off to the celebrations.
And now Her can reveal that the STUNNING full-length, plunging gold gown Vogue is wearing is courtesy of talented Irish designer, Dawn FitzGerald Atelier – a couture design house that has also dressed the likes of Rosanna Davison and Amy Huberman.
Chatting exclusively to Her as Vogue made her way to the National Television Awards at London’s O2 Arena, Dawn told us that the ‘Bond’ gold sequin couture number was “hand made at my studio in Dalkey last week”.
She continued: “I sourced the fabric on a recent buying trip to Paris and was dying to work with it! I’m delighted Vogue is wearing it; she’s a great advertisement for Irish style.”
Earlier this week, Ms FitzGerald had hinted at the high-profile piece she was working on. Taking to her Instagram account, the Dublin-native stated: “Time consuming hand sewing here this morning at DFA… Before our gold sequin gown is parcelled to be sent to a client in London.”
She furthermore shared a video – and all we can say is ‘OMG that is a completely stunning dress’.
As well as decking out a whole host of stars for the red-carpet, Dawn is celebrated for her head-turning bridal creations.
Rosanna Davison wore DFA for her wedding celebration in Powerscourt, Co Wicklow in 2014. Further brides include Alannah McGuirk and Astrid Brennan.
