Topshop has just brought out a €34 top to match its bestselling midi skirt

Prepare to see this on every blogger...

The noughties are back and we’re not complaining.

Cargo pants, platform sandals, hair clips; all things we wore to discos back in the day that are suddenly mad stylish all over again.

The latest early-2000s staple to make a return? The iconic scarf crop top.

Topshop is just one of the big brands bringing back the piece made famous by everyone from Destiny’s Child-era Beyoncé to S Club 7.

Its version nods to another huge noughties trend, the halter neck, and really shouldn’t work but it just does.

With retro-inspired looks being huge at the minute, it’s a piece you’ll see loads of folks in this festival season.

It’s €34 and currently comes in black, nude pink, a boho scarf print and a monochrome geometric print (above) but keep your eyes peeled for more – Topshop like to keep bringing its most popular bits out in loads of colours.

We’d style it with something like jeans or shorts but we reckon we’ll see it paired with Topshop’s cult satin slip skirt, one of the retailer’s most popular items of the past year.

It’s been all over Instagram thanks to our favourite influencers and is available in pretty much every colour and style you could think if.

As we pointed out recently, the skirt has just been reduced from €46 to €34 in a load of styles so it’s worth looking out for if you’re heading in to pick up the top anyway.
