Our favourite shops receive new deliveries on a regular basis and we can’t resist having a peek at what’s in store this week.
First up is this week’s hero piece. It is expensive at €135 but it makes more sense to buy a piece that you will get the wear out of time and time again. You could buy two or three cheaper items for this price but they are likely to retire to the back of the wardrobe after a couple of outings which is a waste of money when all’s said and done.
The run-up to Christmas is the perfect time to add a little sparkle to your wardrobe. This embellished number from River Island is reminiscent of fashion in the Great Gatsby era and we love it. Note that a dress like this needs little accessorising, it really does speak for itself. It’s perfect to wear at the annual office party and again for the festive socialising that Christmas brings each year.
Dress, €135 at River Island
Our second favourite this week is this grey woollen jumper from Warehouse, priced at €60 . Grey and pink make a gorgeous combination and jewels attached to jumpers is a popular trend for this season. It takes the effort out of searching for a statement necklace to match plus it gives a plain grey jumper a whole new lease of life.
Jumper, €60 at Warehouse.
Finally we have our third pick which is this leopard print blouse, €9. If money is low but you still feel like a treat then you can’t go wrong with this printed piece. Team it with a black faux leather circle skirt and shoe boots or tailored black pants and stilettos.
Blouse, €9 at Penneys.
