There’s an amazing sustainable fashion event happening in Dublin this weekend

Dublin’s newest (and most modern) sustainable fashion event is returning to the capital this weekend.

Yes, that’s right: #NewButLooksBetterOnYou is partnering up with The Well, which is located by St. Stepehen’s Green.

The next event will take place on July 28 from 1pm until 4pm.

The partnership will see Fifi’s Food Blog Dublin and The Glitter Bugs launch their second sustainable fashion event bringing food, drink, sustainability and high street fashion together again.

On the event, the organisers said:

“Do you want to be more eco conscious, but still be fashion conscious? Want to shop more sustainably but you’re a divil for a bargain and finding it hard to avoid fast fashion styles?

“Love high street clothes, but not their prices (financial AND environmental)?

“#NewButLooksBetterOnYou is a sustainable fashion event where buyers can come and purchase high street clothing pieces at prices that won’t break the bank.

“Research has shown that a large number of buyers want to be more eco-conscious in relation to their fashion choices, though they cannot find the high street styles that they love in charity shops.

“#NewButLooksBetterOnYou is the solution to this problem.”

Now, for the even better part (because yes, it gets better).

The afternoon promises to be filled with plenty of  delicious pizza from the Dublin Pizza Company, great tunes and ice cream.

Oh, and did we mention. there is going to be glitter cocktails on arrival?

You can go to the event as a seller, and bring along new – or almost new – items to sell.

But if you’re looking to head along to snap up some fab new wardrobe additions, tickets cost €9 – €7 for the ticket itself, plus a €2 booking fee – and you can snap them up here.

And if you really want to, you can go as both a seller and buyer – best of both worlds, really.
