The wedding dress you’re going to see a lot more of in 2017

So fab AND easy to wear.

Cathy Donohue

The bohemian bride.

There’s one wedding dress trend about to become big news for 2017 and the good news is it’s relaxed, super chilled and easy to wear.

You might remember that the most pinned wedding dress at the moment is this Grace Loves Lace ‘Hollie’ number and it’s not hard to see why it’s proved so popular.

Instead of the classic princess style, this strappy number is pretty and comfortable to actually move around in.

This is something most brides want in a wedding dress and a reason why I predict this style will become even bigger next year.

Also, Troian Bellisario, known for her role as Pretty Little Liars’ Spencer rocked the boho vibe when she married Patrick J Adams, aka Mike from Suits, at the weekend.

While the above style is relatively simple, there are more detailed designs available from designers including Claire Pettibone, Jenny Packham and Pallas Couture.

As always, Instagram is a major source of inspiration and some of the designs are beyond breathtaking.

Take a look at Los Angeles-based Claire’s designs below, I mean the detail is beyond exquisite.

Stunning.

Floral headpiece, perfect for a summer boho bride.

Next is Jenny Packham, whom I like to call the queen of embellishment.

Her Bridal 2017 collection marries jewel-encrusted designs with free-flowing silhouettes and if you’d like to see them in person, Galgorm Resort and Spa in Ballymena are hosting a preview of the collection on Thursday January 19th.

Take a look at this beauty.

Last but not least, we have Pallas Couture.

An Australian haute couture bridal house, Pallas is stocked internationally and the designs are sure to appeal to any trend-obsessed bride.

The figure-hugging tailoring may not be to everyone’s taste but there’s no denying the craftsmanship in this pieces.

This one is similar to the Hollie style and again, it’s boho perfection.
