The Ruby Slippers Worn By Judy Garland In The Wizard Of Oz Are Clicking Their Way To London

The iconic shoes worn by the actress as Dorothy in the cult classic will feature in the upcoming Hollywood Costume exhibition at the Victoria & Albert Museum.

This will be the first time the shoes – which are on loan from Washington’s Smithsonian National Museum of American History – have ever been on public display outside the US and will be the first time they have been exhibited with the character’s blue and white gingham dress.

There were only four pairs of the iconic slippers ever made, including the pair being used in the exhibition. And fun fact, Lady Gaga owns another pair that she received last year as a 25th birthday present.
