When you think about public transport in Ireland, it might be safe to assume that “glamour” isn’t one of the first words that springs to mind.
That might be about to change.
As part of the celebrations for this year’s Dublin Fashion Festival, DublinTown has teamed up with Luas to announce the Dublin Fashion Festival Luas #GlamTram.
On Friday the 11th September, Luas will host a very glam event for its passengers.
The Luas #GlamTram will sit stationary at St. Stephen’s Green from 1.00pm to 3.00pm, welcoming guests aboard for free mini makeovers courtesy of Boots No.7 and Tony and Guy along with delicious canapés and mocktails thanks to Mao and TGI Fridays.
There’s a good reason to dress to impress too, as Luas will be on the lookout for the most fashionably dressed passengers throughout the week of the festival with its Style Spotter competition offering prizes including One4All vouchers and €50 Leap Cards.
Dublin Fashion Festival returns from Monday 7th September until Sunday 13th September. Organised by DublinTown, this citywide, now week-long celebration brings a fashion festival fix to the streets of Dublin, with over 250 retailers, restaurants, bars and hotels taking part.
