Have you ordered your Lost Stock box?
Billions of dollars worth of clothing orders were cancelled due to the Coronavirus pandemic – leaving more than a million garment factory workers in Bangladesh without a job [via Lost Stock].
Throughout lockdown, one company has set to out to make a difference: reuniting clothing from the retailers’ cancelled orders to new owners, while also supporting the workers.
Lost Stock – which costs €39.95 plus shipping – is a mystery fashion box that includes at least three items, all of which have been picked based off your preferences.
All of the clothing would have been bound for the high street this summer – and it’s proving to be a massive hit with fashion fans.

So, how does it work?
When you’re placing an order for one of the boxes, there’s just a few questions you have to fill out – including your size, whether you’d prefer men or women’s clothing, what age group you fall in.
You also have to tell them if you prefer dark or bright colours, or plain or patterned items.
Using this information, the team at Lost Stock select at least three items for your box, which could include tops, T-shirts, shirts, blouses and jackets.

If you’re curious as to what some of the pieces inside may look like, keep an eye on the company’s Instagram account – Lost Stock have been sharing glimpses of some fo the pieces over the last little while (we particularly adore that striped and floral top).
Once you’ve ordered, there’s about a six to eight week wait until your Lost Stock box arrives – so it’s kind of like a present to future you.
Sounds good to us.
