You will thank yourself when you are getting out of the sea come January.
Thousands of us – myself included –fell in love with sea swimming over the past year.
The cold water feels amazing and refreshing and almost healing. The cold air when you get out of the water though? Not so much.
Which is no doubt the reason fleece-lined, cosy changing robes have become the popular choice of attire for sea swimmers.
However, as anyone who has ever looked up the price of one will know – they don’t come cheap.
Lucky for us, Dunnes Stores recently brought out their version of the more well-known Dryrobes – which, unsurprisingly, sold out almost immediately.
Now they are back in stock though – and having learned my lesson the first time around, I have already placed my order.

The unisex changing robe is created with water- and windproof outer shell fabric and a full-length, two-way reversible zip.
It is fully lined for warmth (which will come in handy in a few weeks’ time when the temperature dips) and features fleece-lined zip pockets and an inside zip pocket.
As well as staying warm, the robes ar large, loose and oversized, meaning they are also perfect for getting changed under.
