Swept off Your Feet? One Dublin Footballer Knows Exactly What Women Want

He’s got us sussed…

Rebecca McKnight

Irish ladies know it well; there’s no better man than a GAA man when it comes to understanding what women want.

This, though, is a step beyond.

Last year All-Ireland winning Dublin star Eamon Fennell noticed a regular occurrence during his nightclub DJ turns.

While hard at work on the decks, the footballer spotted bouncers arguing night after night with near-crippled women who just couldn’t take the pain of their pretty heels any longer and decided barefoot was better.

Eamon Fennell, the Dublin star and DJ who created Sole Sister Flats

This sight spurred Fennell on to create Sole Sister Flats, practical but pretty flat shoes that fold, roll and bend to fit into any handbag.

The flats come packaged in a pouch that converts in to a shoulder bag, so carrying home the heels that you were busy burning up the dancefloor in is made easier too.

The products were launched in late 2012, and now Sole Sister Flats are available to purchase in some of Dublin’s nightclub cloakrooms, with plans for the rest of the country currently underway.

But of course, they shoes are not just for nightclub revelers, and now brides can order a cute basket of flats as a wedding favour for guests. Party on! For more, see www.solesisterflats.com.
