Despite spring having sprung, it's still feeling awfully wintry out there at the moment. And no matter how many scarves, gloves or jumpers we bury ourselves in, it feels like we're never warm enough. And with our plans to buy sensibly in mind - picking up only those pieces that we know we would get a lot of wear out of, and that would in our wardrobes for seasons (and years) to come - we have been keeping an eye out for the perfect big, cosy jumper. Thankfully, cult fashion brand Everlane have come to the rescue with the oversize alpaca crew jumper. The jumper is a little on the pricier side at €87, but it seems to be a hit with fans of the brand - and we reckon it is definitely worth splashing out on. The piece comes in ten - yes, you read that correctly, ten - different colours, so whether you're a fan of some more neutral hues or are looking for one which will give your wardrobe a splash of colour, there's definitely a version of the jumper that would suit everyone's tastes. "Our first alpaca sweater. With a cool rib pattern and a crew neckline, the Oversized Alpaca Crew has all the warmth of a cozy winter knit with a plush, airy feel," the retailer said of the piece. "We love alpaca because it’s less prickly, longer-lasting, and resists pilling. Plus, it’s better for the environment—alpacas are soft-hooved and gentle grazers, which makes them easier on pastures than other herd animals." Yep, sounds good to us.
