Although it’s easy to make a habit of shopping based on ‘what’s in’, this isn’t always a good idea.
Buying according to trends can incur debts pretty quickly and just because a piece is fashion forward doesn’t mean it will suit all body shapes.
Investment pieces in contrast, actually stand the test of time.
Each week we aim to introduce a new piece for your wardrobe and provide three options from where to buy, catering for all budgets.
Save – €18 at River Island
River Island launched their sale this week and we are loving it. These printed beauts are reduced from €45 to €18 and they are all you need to brighten up your wardrobe for spring summer. Team them with a simple black tee and black pumps for day and change to pointed stilettos for night. Sorted.
Steal – £42 (€51) at Topshop
Tropical prints are huge for spring summer 2014 and while these pants may not be for everyone, they’re pretty cool. Pair them with a printed top on top for extra fashion forward points. You won’t be long getting in the mood for summer wearing this print.
Splurge -Maje €165, at BT2
If you feel like spending a little more, then French brand Maje can always be relied on to come up with the goods. These printed pants are a little different to what you might see elsewhere and as they’re that bit more expensive, you’re not as likely to see everyone wearing them. The stripe will draw the eye down the body, thus elongating your legs, always a winner.
